Transformation Therapy is a mixture of Hypnosis, NLP, Time Line Therapy and life coaching techniques which can help you to overcome almost any problems you have in your life which are within your control to change. It’s an enjoyable process, is not difficult and does not involve raking up past events or spending years in expensive analysis or therapy. It is a relatively speedy process, tailored to your own specific needs. We deal with the here and now and concentrate on your own inner capacity to switch off unwanted feelings and behaviours and replace them with more desirable ones. In this way you have the power to create your own future, not based on what has happened in your past.
Life Coaching is how we talk and work out together what exactly it is that you want that you don’t have now (believe me – we don’t always have that clarity without asking the right questions of ourselves), establish where you are now in life and then find out what it is that is stopping you from creating this perfect life. If you have issues in your life (we all do) that get in the way of you achieving everything you want then we can work on dealing with them, removing them where appropriate. For instance if you are a fantastic pianist and would love to play live concerts but the thought of going on stage in front of a roomful of people scares you half to death then it will never happen. But, this fear may be removed easily by a combination of HYPNOSIS, NLP and TIME LINE THERAPY. The same principle applies to most fears and behaviours. They are just habits and beliefs, formed usually when we were children but there is NO reason why we should continue to put up with them! If you are overweight but are, maybe, in the habit of ‘hiding’ behind your weight for some reason then you can find out what that is about and that is SO liberating because you now have the power to remove that obstacle.
Hypnosis is one way of changing those beliefs and habits. Hypnosis is simply a state of highly focused concentration and heightened awareness. You unknowingly experience this natural state every day. It's just a way of tuning out distracting thoughts, and focusing your attention, just as you do when you're daydreaming, or when totally absorbed in a film, book, TV show, or favourite hobby, or even when driving. When using Hypnosis we are accessing the subconscious mind. By altering your state of consciousness, in such a way that the analytical left-hand side of the brain is quietened down, while the non-analytical right-hand side is made more alert, this allows the unconscious mind to come to the fore, where it is able to accept suggestions more easily. The unconscious mind contains all your memories and experiences, and controls your automatic thoughts and behaviours, and this is the part which has to change for your behaviour to change and this is what we do with hypnotherapy.
NLP, or Neuro Linguistic Programming is a range of tools which ‘trick’ your brain into letting go of old, undesired thoughts and behaviours that you no longer want and installing better ones, often in an instant. Your mind is the most valuable and incredible tool you have but it is always looking for the easy way out so it rules your emotions and behaviour automatically. We are programmed in the early stages of life to react and respond in certain ways and they become automatic to us. In this way when we have an experience that our mind thinks is similar to another one we had, instead of letting go and reacting in a way appropriate to now it responds in the same old way. In this way we trap ourselves, become prisoners of our own minds. For instance, if our parents and/or teachers from our childhood days constantly criticized us we probably learnt that the easy way out was to hide what we felt and thought and adapt our behaviour to please them. If so…then this is probably something that you are still doing i.e. ‘people-pleasing’. Why should we feel we cannot be ourselves? We can only be free when we are truly being our selves. With NLP you can learn to be in charge of your mind and emotions in the best possible way. By ‘reframing’ these automatic thoughts in our mind we often end up laughing at ourselves for thinking such a thing in the first place.
Time Line Therapy™ techniques allow freedom from undesired negative emotions; such as fear, anger, sadness and anxiety, by releasing these emotions from the memories that harvest them. You are then able to react freely to future situations – without the emotional baggage of the past.
